  On the two occasions I have booked with Europcar I have NOT had the car i booked and paid for. I let it go the first time. But the 2nd no. I was promised a call within half an hour to let me know when the car I had booked would be in so I could pop back and swap.. Did that happen, NO... Twice fobbed off with excuses.. not good enough. would not recommend.

  As usual quick airport desk service and lovely clean Vauxhall Corsa which I really enjoyed driving. Staff always friendly and attentive as well so I will continue to use Europcar Guernsey. I like not having to fuss around re-fuelling at the end of the hire and think the pre-paid petrol charges are very fair!

  Extended check-in due system outage and mandatory non refundable £16 fuel charge applied for a 36h hire period. Impossible to consume that fuel amount given the island size and speed limits indeed our vehicle was returned with the fuel gauge unchanged. Petrol station is located less than 3 minutes drive from airport to apply a traditional full to full policy or consumer pays for actual usage on return. Value/Avis have a desk right next to Europcar. 3 days later still waiting for an acknowledgement to my email and receipt request the latter not possible to produce when I returned the vehicle. Sadly the hire car customer experience was the lowest point of what was otherwise a wonderful business trip to this beautiful island. With regret I would strongly recommend you look elsewhere for a hire car.

  The car was fine , no problems with the staff, my only quibble would be the £21 fuel charge, that's a lot of fuel to pay for when you can only drive at 25mph and the island is only 9 miles by 3 miles.
