Bought a new iPhone when visiting Guernsey. Turns out to be faulty (checked by another Apple store) but this store will not refund unless you return to the island within 14 days of purchase- clearly not an option for holidaymakers or travellers. No willingness to find a solution bar posting the phone but with no guarantee of a refund so then you have no phone and no refund Best avoided
i have to give the shop credit in that when my iPad packed up outside the guarantee time limit, they organised that i claim under the EU customer protection laws. I had a completely new one within two weeks.
Popped in with my iPad which was not working. Straight away they had a look and tried to help, but unfortunately it was beyond futu. Great customer service and had a good chat with Patrick who was very helpful and suggest alternatives. While I was there I also compared some of the prices in the shop to online retailers, and the prices were as good if not better!

Very poor customer policy. Not a original Apple Store merely a Apple Authorised Re -Seller.
Apple plc suggest you go to an original store where you will benefit from their returns / exchange policy and full guarantee upto two weeks after purchasing and opening their products and a refund of the VAT.
